FDPA Reaches First Fundraising Goal of $50,000!
Thanks to the many generous supporters of the Fitchburg Dog Park, FDPA has reached its first fundraising goal of $50,000 allocated to basic park amenities and construction to match City funding.
Congratulations to the community of Fitchburg for working together on this project! Please take time to acknowledge our many local supporters by patronizing their business and offering words of thanks.
While FDPA reached our initial goals, we want to make the park the best it can be. To help fund low-maintenance crushed limestone or blacktop paths for the park, instead of the mowed paths as currently planned, we’re raising our goal to $60,000. Join us in reaching this new goal!
- To establish the first fenced-in, off-leash dog park in central Fitchburg where well-behaved canine citizens can exercise in a clean, safe environment without endangering or annoying people, property or wildlife.
- To develop a beautiful, well-maintained space open to all dog lovers and friends who are willing to uphold the dog park rules and regulations.
- To view this park as a community project, in partnership with the City of Fitchburg, designed to satisfy the needs of dog owners and non-dog owners alike.
- To raise $50,000 to match the City of Fitchburg’s funding commitment.
